The goal of the Cobb County Police High Tech Crime Squad is to investigate criminal activity which was perpetrated through the use of, or assisted with the use of computers or advanced information technology.  Additionally, we provide forensic support to all of the investigative units within our department as well as other departments upon request.

Selection to this unit requires a minimum of three (3) years service with the department.  Investigative skills and knowledge in the area of computer processes are a must.
